Christopher Reed is a Seattle, WA-based award winning composer, orchestrator, and arranger for both screen and stage. With roots in a wide variety of musical styles, from full symphonic orchestra to three-piece jazz combos and just about everything in between, Christopher has the keen ability to perfectly tailor the mood and feel of his music to any project.
His music has been performed by ensembles around the Pacific Northwest and recorded by some of Seattle, Washington’s most elite musicians, including players with the Seattle Symphony and the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and has been featured in films originating from up and down the West Coast.
Most recently, he has been recognized for "Best Original Score" at the 2022 Seattle 48 Hour Film Project.
Christopher recieved his Master of Music in Film Composition from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program at Seattle Film Institute, a program led by Emmy award-winning Hollywood veteran Hummie Mann.
